Insurance Institute of Nepal (IIN), in Collaboration with UNDP and IRFF, Successfully Concludes Final Module of Inclusive Insurance Training Program
Insurance Institute of Nepal (IIN), in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Insurance and Risk Finance Facility (IRFF), successfully conducted final module of Inclusive Insurance training program. Held from August 04 to August 08, 2025, at Square Hotel in Lalitpur, this training focused on internal capacity building through change management in inclusive insurance. The program aimed to equip insurance professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance the accessibility and sustainability of insurance for underserved populations in Nepal. The final module conducted with 54 participants consisting of 42 practitioners and 12 national trainers.

The program was aimed for both National Trainers and Practitioners, employing a blended methodology of lectures, case studies, group discussions, interactive presentations, and digital tools to enhance practical learning and engagement. As insurers, regulators, and stakeholders advance, their focus must remain on serving people—recognizing that sustainable insurance relies not only on products, but on trust, service, and enduring relationships. This reflecting the commitment of IIN and UNDP to foster inclusivity.
