The Insurance Institute of Nepal (IIN) conducted a Training of Trainers (ToT) on Advanced Sales Leadership for Branch Managers and senior insurance professionals on Magh 23, 2082 (February 6, 2026) at Siddhartha Hotel, Birtamod, Jhapa, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The program aimed to build stronger sales leaders by sharpening leadership approach, strategic thinking, and hands-on sales management skills. It focused on helping managers and internal trainers create a healthy, consistent, and results-driven sales culture within Nepal’s insurance sector.

A total of 29 participants took part in the program, representing Life, Non-Life, and Micro-Insurance companies. The mix of participants created a lively learning environment where experiences, challenges, and ideas were openly shared across different segments of the industry.
The sessions were led by Mr. Bibek Bhandary, who brought practical perspectives on advanced sales leadership. His discussions centered on how branch managers and trainers can improve team performance, inspire people, and turn plans into achievable sales results.
The training covered areas such as developing a strong sales culture, setting consistent sales practices, improving revenue performance, transferring knowledge through trainers, increasing employee engagement, and staying competitive in the market. The sessions were interactive and closely linked to real situations faced in insurance sales and branch management.
Participants actively engaged through discussions, examples, and experience sharing, which strengthened peer learning and practical understanding throughout the day.
The program concluded with a certificate distribution and a feedback session, where participants reflected on their learning and shared suggestions.
Feedback from participants was highly encouraging. Many described the training as practical and useful, noting that the ideas and tools gained could be applied immediately in their organizations to perform more confidently as sales leaders and trainers.
Overall, the ToT on Advanced Sales Leadership in Birtamod, Jhapa met its purpose by helping develop capable leaders who can support growth, professionalism, and consistency across Nepal’s insurance industry.
