Best Global Practices: Marine Cargo, Project Cargo & Maritime Fraud Technical Training
The Insurance Institute of Nepal Ltd. (IIN) organized Day 2 of the technical training program titled “Best Global Practices: Marine Cargo, Project Cargo & Maritime Fraud Technical Training” on 2082/08/05 at Narayanchaur, Naxal, Kathmandu. This session was conducted exclusively for 28 participants from various insurance companies, focusing on underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and compliance.

With Nepal’s insurance industry experiencing rapid growth in international trade exposures, the training aimed to enhance the technical competence of professionals handling marine cargo policies and claims. The program was led by Captain Mukesh Gautama, an international expert with hands-on experience in global cargo claims, project cargo operations, and maritime fraud investigation.
