Customer-Centric Marketing, Education, Servicing and Claims Management in Inclusive Insurance in Partnership with UNDP in Bagmati Province
Insurance Institute of Nepal (IIN), in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Insurance and Risk Finance Facility (IRFF), successfully conducted the 3rd module of its four-part Inclusive Insurance training program. Held from May 19 to May 23, 2025, at Hotel Mulberry in Kathmandu, this training emphasized that sustainable growth in insurance is possible only when marketing, education, servicing, and claims management are aligned with customer needs and expectations. The program aimed to equip insurance professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance the accessibility and sustainability of insurance for underserved populations in Nepal.

The program was aimed for both National Trainers and Practitioners, employing a blended methodology of lectures, case studies, group discussions, interactive presentations, and digital tools to enhance practical learning and engagement. As insurers, regulators, and stakeholders advance, their focus must remain on serving people—recognizing that sustainable insurance relies not only on products, but on trust, service, and enduring relationships. This reflecting the commitment of IIN and UNDP to foster inclusivity.

In addition, the program aim to equip insurance professional with the essential knowledge in practical skills require to improve the accessibility in sustainability of insurance service, particularly under served in vulnerable population across Nepal.
