Training of Trainers on Advanced Sales Leadership in Kathmandu
The Insurance Institute of Nepal successfully completed the one day Training of Trainers (ToT) on Advanced Sales Leadership on Feb 27 2026 in Thamel, Kathmandu, bringing together insurance professionals committed to strengthening sales leadership across the industry.
The program was facilitated by Mr. Bibek Bhandary, who led the sessions with a strong practical focus drawn from real-life sales and branch management experiences. His sessions emphasized how managers and internal trainers can build high-performing teams, improve sales consistency, and translate strategic plans into measurable results.
A total of 31 participants attended the program. Of them, 27 were from life insurance companies and 4 from general insurance companies. The mixed representation created a valuable learning environment, allowing participants to exchange perspectives from both life and non-life segments of the industry.
The training was designed to sharpen leadership approach, strategic thinking, and hands-on sales management skills. Key areas of discussion included developing a strong sales culture, strengthening revenue performance, ensuring consistent sales practices, mentoring teams effectively, and building engagement within branches. Special attention was given to the role of trainers and managers in transferring knowledge and sustaining performance standards within their organizations.
The sessions were highly interactive, with active participation through discussions, experience sharing, and practical examples. Participants openly shared field challenges and solutions, which enriched the learning experience and strengthened peer-to-peer learning.
The program concluded with certificate distribution by the CEO of Insurance Institute of Nepal, Dr. Laxmi Kant Paudel.
Overall, the ToT on Advanced Sales Leadership achieved its objective of preparing capable sales leaders who can foster professionalism, consistency, and growth within Nepal’s insurance sector.
