Training of Trainers on Advanced Sales Leadership in Pokhara
The IIN successfully conducted Training of Trainers (TOT) on Advanced Sales Leadership for Branch Managers on 2082/09/18 (B.S.) at Hotel Landmark, Lakeside, Pokhara.
The program was designed to strengthen the sales leadership capacity of branch managers and senior insurance professionals by enhancing their leadership mindset, strategic thinking, and practical sales management skills. The overall aim was to support the development of a strong, consistent, and sustainable sales culture within Nepal’s insurance industry.
A total of 46 participants attended the training, representing a diverse mix of the insurance sector. Participants included officials from the Nepal Insurance Authority, as well as professionals from Life Insurance, Non-Life Insurance, and Micro-Insurance companies. This diversity encouraged rich discussions and shared learning across different insurance segments.
The training was facilitated by Mr. Bibek Bhandary, who served as the resource person. He delivered practical and insightful sessions on advanced sales leadership, focusing on how branch managers and trainers can effectively drive performance and motivate teams.

Key areas covered during the program included building a strong sales culture, establishing consistent sales practices, improving revenue outcomes, enabling scalable knowledge transfer through trainers, increasing employee engagement, and creating a sustainable competitive advantage in the insurance market. The sessions were highly interactive and allowed participants to relate leadership concepts to real-world insurance sales challenges.
The program was formally inaugurated by the Chief of the Nepal Insurance Authority, Mr. Sambhu Prasad Mishra, who highlighted the importance of leadership development and continuous capacity building in strengthening the insurance industry.
The training concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, followed by a feedback session where participants shared their learning experiences.
Participants provided very positive feedback, describing the program as practical, productive, and relevant. Many noted that the skills and insights gained would be directly applicable in their respective organizations and would help them perform more effectively as sales leaders and trainers.
Overall, the Training of Trainers (TOT) – Advanced Sales Leadership for Branch Managers successfully achieved its objectives and contributed meaningfully to developing capable leaders who can drive growth, professionalism, and consistency across Nepal’s insurance sector.
