The Insurance Institute of Nepal (IIN) successfully conducted a “Training of Trainers (ToT) on Advanced Sales Leadership for Branch Managers” on 07 November 2025 in Butwal, Lumbini Province. The program gathered 36 participants with the objective of enhancing leadership capacity, strengthening sales competencies, and preparing branch-level professionals to deliver effective training within their organizations.

The ToT session was led by sales trainer Mr. Bibek Bhandary, who covered essential sales competencies including the fundamentals of sales, value creation for customers, negotiation strategies, and objection-handling techniques. Participants also engaged in discussions on real-life sales cases, emphasizing positive customer experiences and best practices.
The training featured a series of interactive activities such as networking exercises, skills-gap assessment, personal development planning, and identification of key challenges faced in the sales process.
Addressing the participants, IIN CEO Dr. Laxmi Kant Paudel highlighted that the program aims to strengthen insurance sales capacity, expand insurance access at the grassroots level, and support public trust through fair and timely claim settlement practices. He also introduced IIN’s Digital Learning Platform, which offers practical and industry-focused courses including AML/CFT and Excel for Insurance Professionals to encourage continuous professional development.
Mr. Nirmal Khanal, Information Officer at the Nepal Insurance Authority (Lumbini Province), shared his remarks and extended his best wishes for the success of the program.
To ensure sustained learning, a virtual follow-up session has been scheduled to review progress and reinforce key concepts covered during the training.
